The Minister of Housing, Mr Majed Bin Abdullah Al-Hoqail, has issued a decision to form the board of directors of the Saudi Real Estate Institute (SREI) consisting of nine members headed by the Governor of the Real Estate General Authority. Mr Al-Qahtani holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He is the CEO of Amaar Real Estate Company in Al-Khobar. He also held a number of positions in other real estate companies that qualified him to be one of the real estate experts in the Kingdom.
The establishment of the Saudi Real Estate Institute aims to prepare and implement professional courses and training programs to qualify workers and dealers in the real estate sector inside and outside the Kingdom, as well as to participate in real estate conferences and seminars and interaction with various educational and government authorities to contribute to the development and modernization of the real estate sector in general.
